David Cattach – a profile
David Cattach has a widely held reputation for honest, caring and ethical advice with his clients and his peers. The fact that David’s clients are quick to refer their family, friends and colleagues is testament to this. This and his ability to put himself in the clients’ shoes has been the hallmark of his business.
His career began in the country, and he enjoys assisting clients from all walks of life, including young professionals, families, retirees, business owners and farmers. He gets a real thrill out of ensuring people are financially secure throughout their working life and are prepared financially for retirement.
Transition into retirement can be very overwhelming for some, however David will remove the worry, ensuring clients’ money will last and opportunities throughout the golden retirement years are maximised.
David is married to Jenny, and has two adorable daughters, Phoebe and Grace. He works as a Certified Financial Planner® and is a Director of Cattach & Cattach Financial Planning Pty Ltd (Formerly BlueGrass Wealth Management) based in Subiaco.

David is very active in the community as a member of the Board of Management for the Children’s Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation; he spoke recently about his passion for the Keep the Flame Alive event October 2013.
Keep the Flame Alive is a worthwhile and unique event to bring awareness to our mission and raise funds for our cause.
I admire the courage and strength displayed by those who directly and indirectly deal with serious disease in their lives. I am passionate about doing whatever it takes to ensure a better quality of life during and after treatment for our sick kids, and anyone else affected by serious disease.
